Just One for Just Us (Justice): A poem

Just One, Just Us

The suffering of others,

Makes me suffer too,

But I still put myself,

In their different shoes.

Learning of their pain,

Leaves me nothing to gain,

But some were born to sing the blues,

And cry along with the rain.

Knowledge is power it seems,

And the power is within.

If you don’t know about the wrongs,

How can you help make the right plans?

What if those who cause the pain,

Are the ones with all the power?

They just blame it on regimes,

To cause more terror?

What if this is really the trouble?

A masterful plan to appear to the bubble,

That forms over our mind,

When we aren’t told enough to know,

The truth of how the cogs,

In the established systems go.

I am just one in a movement,

Searching for the truth,

Beyond the newspaper,

And the six o’clock news,

Exposure to ideas,

Different than presented,

On a big TV screen - Elite directed.

I am just one in a movement,

Looking for JUST US,

Together we can better,

The planet beneath us.

Now Interwebs connect us,

Like steel silk from a spider,

Our power together,

Can raise our hearts a little higher.

Erase our minds’ want of all selfish desire.

Replace it with a love for unity,

Community, peace, and harmony.

Your connection has utility.

Our minds a little clearer,

The tipping point looms nearer.

Now is the time - to shed all your fear.

As tensions surface faster,

We must raise our consciousness,

If we want to avoid disaster.

Meld it all together,

Let it all connect,

So when we analyze,

We can consider all the specs.

Culture binds our minds,

Bodies bound by time,

But the open mind,

Can rise above the

Present culture blinds,

To see the love inside,

And let all enjoy the ride.

Darkness in the soul,

Is just the absence of the light.

When love lights up the way,

We can be free of the fight,

Of good and malicious.

Maybe we will see a day,

Oh so delicious,

When war will go way.

Because everyone will be,

Better at their best.

And practice their best self,

To give our hearts a rest.
